SERVICE ALERT: Canada Post Labor DisruptionUpdated 26 minutes ago
On September 25th, 2025 Canada Post announced that their services would be disrupted due to a labor strike. Here’s how lttstore customers can expect to be affected.
If you live outside of Canada:
- Services will not be affected in any way
If you have an existing order shipped via Canada Post:
In-transit orders will be delayed for an unknown amount of time. We cannot retrieve, re-ship, or expedite these orders, however your order will be delivered upon the resumption of service. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause
Orders in label-created status will be re-processed and shipped via an alternative service. Please allow an additional 2-3 days for delivery to occur. We will send updated tracking numbers to affected customers as soon as possible
If you have not yet ordered:
- New orders will be shipped via an alternate delivery service with the same or similar speed
- PO Boxes:
In anticipation of this labor disruption, we’ve historically advised against the use of PO Boxes, which can only be serviced by Canada Post.
Orders addressed to a PO Box will be indefinitely delayed until service resumes.
Residents of very rural parts of Canada:
Some addresses may only be serviced by Canada Post; typically these are locations in very rural areas
If you are in such a location and you place an order, it will be indefinitely delayed until Canada Post service resumes
We recommend refraining from ordering until Canada Post service resumes, unless you're okay with this delay.
If you have an order you intend to return:
Returns in Canada are made with Canada Post shipping labels
Contact customer service to request a return. Return requests must still be made within 30 days of receiving your order
Customer service will still provide shipping labels, but you won’t be able to ship your goods until service resumes. You will not be penalized in the event this occurs after your 30 day return period would normally expire
You will be credited for your return or exchange when service resumes and your goods are accepted by Canada Post
